From Back Of The Book

Sterling Jeter has remarkable powers as the result of a secret experiment to create a breed of super soldiers. Now he has to use everything he’s got to help beautiful, brilliant Rebecca Burns, the only astrobiologist alive who can save humanity from a super-enhanced, deadly street drug.

Sterling and Rebecca’s teenage romance was interrupted, and now they’re virtually strangers. But the heat and attraction are still there, and even entrapment by an evil enemy can’t stop them from picking up their mutual passion right where they left off.

My Review:

The Storm That Is Sterling is a wonderful continuation of Lisa Renee Jones’ Zodius series. While reading The Legend Of Micheal, Sterling quickly became one of my favorites of the Renegades. I’ve been chomping at the bit for this book for six months!

Rebecca had been asked by General Powell to assist with the Zodius program when it first started, but she refused. Now years later, Sterling is asking her to join the Renegade Soldiers to neutralize a drug created by Adam Rain and his Zodius followers. A drug that is based on the same serum General Powell injected the soldiers with. But she doesn’t know if she can trust Sterling, especially after he disappeared fourteen years ago without a word.

The characters that Lisa Renee Jones has created for her Zodius series is an amazing cross section of personalities. Sterling is the risk taker of the group. He will do what ever it takes to keep humanity safe from the Zodius soldiers. More than once does he put himself at risk to save someone else. His altruism is amazing.

Ms Jones has yet to announce when the next Zodius book will be released or who it will be about, but I’ll be on pins and needles until then. If you have not read this series, you need to!

I give The Storm That Is Sterling a 5 Horseshoe rating!
